A Tabletop Workshop taking place at the Purr & Wag It home studio in Camberwell, London from 2-5.30pm unless otherwise stated. This wet felt making workshop is suitable for those who already have some experience of creating flat felt and those wanting to revisit wet felting. If you have no wet felting experience Heather will ensure you get your vessel made but you may need to complete the fulling process at home.

Heather will guide you through the layering technique to make a seam free vessel using a resist. Which is a piece of cloth or other material that stops fibres travelling from one side to the other. This form of making is the gate way to all things 3D and so perfect if you want to make bags, slippers or indeed cat caves.

A recent review:

"Had an excellent and enjoyable afternoon with Heather teaching us about 3D felting. Heather explained everything clearly and in detail. She helped us understand the reasons behind our actions and the properties of wool and how they can affect the end results. We all came away with beautiful felted vessels which will be proudly displayed. I will definitely continue to experiment on my own and mix wet felting techniques with needle felting and embroidery. Highly recommend this course."
